Whether you’re looking to become an IPT Practitioner or interested in learning Interpersonal Counselling (IPC), we have the perfect course for you.
Interpersonal Counselling (IPC) Course This accessible two-day training is perfect for anyone—regardless of clinical experience—interested in supporting individuals experiencing distress or mild depression. IPC is delivered over 4-6 weekly sessions and is suitable for both adolescents and adults.
Course dates: February 10th and 11th, 2025
Location: Online via Microsoft Teams
Following the training, participants can apply their skills through supervised case work with two clients.

We are excited to let you know of this training opportunity in Interpersonal Counselling (IPC).
IPC is an adaptation of IPT with three main differences: the treatment duration is shorter (3-6 sessions); it is designed for clients with mild depression; or distress and it can be delivered by mental health as well as by non-mental health professionals after participation in a brief (two day) training course.

The training consists of mixture of didactic teaching, demonstrations of relevant competencies via roleplay, video materials as well as discussions in the breakup groups. During this training you will learn all the strategies relevant to delivery of IPC and you will have an opportunity to see some examples as well as opportunity to practice these strategies.
