  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy UK (IPT UK) is a multi-disciplinary interest group for people involved in the training, practice, and theory of Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
  • Our members are from a wide range of backgrounds including Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists, Nurses, CBT Therapists, Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and more recently, KSA applicants.
  • Becoming a member of the IPT UK network grants you access to a wide library of resources and CPD events, that will enhance and shape the way in which you deliver your IPT.
WHY JOIN US?
IPT UK evolved from an informal special interest group of individuals to a formalised organisation which has involved setting, monitoring, and maintaining training, supervision and accreditation standards.

IPT UK is the only UK based accredited body for therapists practicing Interpersonal Psychotherapy. We aim to provide a national standard and structure to enable this intervention to be recognised, implemented, and offered with confidence across UK treatment centres.
