IPT Group Supervision - South West
The Southwest Region of IPT UK is committed to promoting the use and development of IPT delivered by IPT Accredited Practitioners including its various adaptations where appropriate, across Talking Therapies in the NHS, Charities and in Private Practice.
We encourage regular IPT supervision in local services and arrange local CPD events face to face and online. We host biannual CPD days in The Southwest of England, most recently SW CPD November 29, 2024, 10-3pm online day online free to SW IPT UK members and on back to basics discussing Strategies used in IPT and Attachment, use of the ECR in IPT. and hosted the IPT UK National Day - IPT for Depression in Veterans. I have used IPT as a therapeutic modality since 2000, having trained with CREDO Department of Psychiatry, University of Oxford. I remotely supervise clinicians delivering IPT for services across the UK, including Psychological Therapies, Children and Young People's Services, Perinatal and Infant Mental Health, PTSD, Eating Disorders in Adolescents, Veterans & Working Age Adults and Older Adults Services.
I am an IPTUK WAA /CAMHS Talking Therapies compliant Registered Practitioner and Supervisor and Member of the IPT UK Training Committee and a member of ISIPT.
As a Clinical Specialist in Eating Disorders I also practise CBT-E and FBT in the NHS.
