London - Claudio Mendes and Margot Kalmus                                      
Claudio: I currently work in West London IAPT practicing as a CBT and IPT clinician and supervisor.  In terms of my clinical background, I originally trained in Psychodynamic therapy and worked in private practice and the voluntary sector from 2005.  In 2012 I joined IAPT, initially training and practicing as a CBT therapist and subsequently as a CBT supervisor.  In 2015 I completed my training as an IPT practitioner. I recently completed the IPT supervisor training and have commenced supervising trainee and qualified practitioners. I am looking forward to meeting other IPT clinicians in my new role as Regional rep for London. "

I am an accredited IPT UK Practitioner and Supervisor and is employed with MPFT. I’ve worked within an NHS IAPT service for over 10 years as a Counsellor and IPT therapist and more recently as a supervisor. My background is working in health environment, the private and voluntary sectors and has 15 years’ experience as a trainer, both in the private sector delivering training to a wide range of audiences across the UK including the Blue Light Services.

I am a UKCP Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Supervisor. I was trained by Roslyn Law in 2006 and completed my Supervisor Training in 2011 with Julia Fox-Clinch. I am passionate about IPT for Adults and Adolescents. I currently supervise a number of practitioners in Devon and Dorset and really enjoy my supervisory work.
I currently work in the NHS as Clinical Director of a Primary Care Counselling Service. I also work for the Royal Marines Association - The Royal Marines Charity as a Clinical Case Manager for their Veteran Referral Pathway as well as running a Private Practice. I am also an Accredited EMDR Practitioner and Couple Therapist having completed The Certificate in Family and Marital Therapy. The Advanced Family and Couple Clinical Practice and Couple Counselling for Depression at Exeter University. I supervised trainees on the Couple Therapy for Depression  Training at Exeter University. I will do my very best to represent IPT practitioners here in the Southwest.

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, and an IPT supervisor and trainer. I work with Dr Roslyn Law on the postgraduate IPT-A diploma course, and I specialise in working with young people. I have been using the IPT-A model since 2005, lately using some adaptations of the IPT-A model (e.g. Family-based IPT and IPT-AST, a preventative group in schools). I am currently involved in training and research in Interpersonal counselling (IPC) for adolescents.

I am a Psychotherapist and CAMHS practitioner working within the area of Anglesey, in North-West Wales. I am from a Social Work background, initially working for a third-sector organisation who supported homeless young people, before coming to CAMHS in 2016. I have a strong interest in LGBTQ+ youth work, having founded a project, which now provides services such as a youth club, emotional support and independent living skills to LGBTQ+ young people across Gwynedd. 
I was trained in CBT and EMDR before undertaken my IPT-A training with the Anna Freud Centre in 2019, I am now in the process of completing my Supervisor Accreditation in IPT.
