Race & Culture Special Interest Group meeting 5.3.21
On Friday 5th March, 2021, Alicia Clarke hosted the first IPT UK Race & Culture special interest group. The meeting was the third in a series of meetings that have recently been exploring cultural considerations in psychotherapy.
The Zoom meeting was attended by 37 IPT UK members and was an exciting opportunity for members to meet in one of four break-out rooms:
Africa and the Caribbean room
Gypsy and Traveller room
Although the meeting was brief, there was a great deal of positive feedback with plenty of enthusiasm to attend meetings addressing these topics further. If you have any strong interest in any of the above 4 areas, please email Alicia Clarke via firstname.lastname@example.org All feedback, suggestions, ideas and comments are welcome. We look forward to hearing from you soon. IPT UK
