November 2022
Our National Meeting in November was held online again. The topic was “The Adaptation of IPT for PTSD for the Adolescent Population” with Shayne Ragbeer, Viktoria Cestaro and Laura Mufson leading the training.

Our usual National Meeting was held online again. Our Perinatal SIG leads delivered the excellent CPD session while the Executive Team gave insightful updates. Ellen Heralall was introduced as our new Executive Committee Chair.

"Perinatal Mental Health is Everyone's Business "
The morning will include updates from the Executive and Training committees, our IPT UK anti-racism strategy report, a welcome to our new Executive chair, updates from the IAPT and Research leads, plus news from the SIG leads and Regional Reps. Then a CPD session with Angela Woods and Kirstie Phipps titled 'Perinatal is Everyone's Business'.
Angela Wood is an Interpersonal Therapist and Supervisor based in Greater Manchester where she works for a local IAPT service as the Perinatal and Parent Infant Mental Health Lead. Angela also has the role of Greater Manchester IAPT PIMH Lead and delivers Perinatal Frame of Mind competency training and supervision to City Wide IAPT Services. 
Kirstie is a Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Nurse and IPT Practitioner in the Gloucestershire Perinatal Team Mental Health Team.
The event is set to be engaging, interesting and informative. We encourage all IPT UK members to join as it is all about you! We look forward to seeing you there, from Team IPT UK.

Our usual National Meeting was held online again. This time we had two special guest speakers, Kieran Rose and Jesse Owen who presented on autism and multiculturalism respectively.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our usual National Meeting was held online. The special guest speaker was Professor John Markowitz, and the title of the presentation was "In the Aftermath of the Pandemic. IPT for Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD".

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our usual Executive Committee updates were pre-recorded and made available to view online.
A live educational seminar was held and the special guest speaker was Dr Andrew Beck and the title of the presentation was "Adapting Psychological Therapies for black, Asian, and other ethnic minority service users".
