Interpersonal Counselling (IPC ) Training

IPC is an adaptation of IPT with three main differences: the treatment duration is shorter (3-6 sessions); it is designed for clients with mild depression; or distress and it can be delivered by mental health as well as by non-mental health professionals after participation in a brief (two day) training course. Since its original development it has been delivered in a variety of settings including more complex presentations and more severe depression.

Dates of next training:
When: 15th and 16th September 2025
Where: Online
Who: The training will be facilitated by Dr Elizabeth Robinson (IPT Trainer and Supervisor) and Viktoria Cestaro (CPsychol, IPT Trainer and Supervisor and Co-developer of IPC for Adolescents).
Cost: 2-day training course £350
Booking details: E-mail Graham at [email protected]

The training consists of mixture of didactic teaching, demonstrations of relevant competencies via roleplay, video materials as well as discussions in the breakup groups.
